Alex Carpani will perform with his band on 31st of May, 2007 at the second edition of this prestigious Italian festival, opening the concert of OSANNA, one of the Italian legendary prog bands of the '70s. The festival's line up includes other famous bands such as BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO and BALLETTO DI BRONZO.

Il festival, giunto alla sua seconda edizione, è in programma dal 31 maggio al 2 giugno 2007 al Palatenda del Club Il Giardino a Lugagnano (Verona). Alex Carpani suonerà il 31 maggio alle 21, aprendo il concerto degli OSANNA, storico gruppo prog italiano degli anni '70. Il programma del festival include artisti del calibro di BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO e BALLETTO DI BRONZO.

The album "The Borg Symphony - Ode To
Hero Tixe", issued in 2005 by Cypher Arts and containing Alex
Carpani's original music, will be performed on friday, 26th of May 2006
at Prog Sud Festival. This festival takes place every year in Les
Pennes-Mirabeau, near Marseille, France. Alex Carpani will be on stage
with Paul Whitehead and others musicians.
Alex will probably perform in 2007 edition as solo artist, presenting the upcoming album "Waterline".

L'album "The Borg Symphony - Ode To Hero Tixe", pubblicato nel 2005 dalla Cypher Arts e per il quale Alex Carpani ha scritto le musiche originali, sarà eseguito venerdì 26 maggio 2006 al Prog Sud Festival che si tiene ogni anno a Les Pennes-Mirabeau, località poco distante da Marsiglia, Francia. Accanto ad Alex Carpani, sul palco ci saranno Paul Whitehead ed altri musicisti.
Ci sono buone possibilità, invece, che Alex Carpani suoni nell'edizione 2007 come solista, presentando l'album "Waterline" di prossima uscita.

Two tracks of the upcoming album "Waterline" are now broadcasted on K_Rock, an Italian radio of Reggio Emilia (northern Italy) in a weekly prog rock music program called "GONG", which is leaded by Gigi Cavalli Cocchi, the promoter of the "Gong" Progressive Rock Festival that take place every year in June near Reggio Emilia.

"Waterline"
Cypher Arts will publish the cd "Waterline", a progressive rock album entirely composed, arranged (all instruments) and performed with MIDI instruments by Alex Carpani in 2003-2004.
The drums, bass, guitars and other parts have been re-recorded in U.S.A. by American musicians like Neil Bettencourt (drums), Dan Shapiro (bass), John Thomas, Robert Wolfe and Marc Pattison (guitars), Cory Wright (saxophones and flutes).
The English lyrics have been written by Dan Shapiro and Paul Whitehead, while the Italian lyrics have been written by Alex Carpani.
Whitehead, who is also the author of the cover artwork, is known as the author of the cover artworks of some legendary prog rock albums like "Foxtrot", "Nursery Crime" and "Trespass" by Genesis, as well as several albums of Van der Graaf Generator, Peter Hammil, Le Orme, etc.
The lead and back vocals have been done by Aldo Tagliapietra, the leader of Italian legendary prog rock band Le Orme.
